TERMS & CONDITIONS — DILLI DRIP

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Dilli Drip website (dillidrip.com) or placing an order. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Scope
These Terms govern your use of our website and any purchases made through it. They form a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer”) and Dilli Drip. Additional policies — including our Shipping & Returns Policy, Privacy Policy, and Size Guide — are part of these Terms by reference.
3. Orders, Acceptance & Contract Formation

When you place an order, you offer to buy the items selected. Acceptance occurs when we send an order confirmation email — at which point the contract is formed.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for reasons including but not limited to: stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inability to verify customer identity.

All orders are subject to verification checks and fraud screening.
(Practical note: platforms commonly treat confirmation email as acceptance; follow-up order status emails are standard.)
4. Pricing, Taxes & GST

All prices on the website are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and may include applicable taxes where indicated.

Shipping charges, taxes, or other fees (including GST) will be displayed on checkout and included in the order summary.

If you are a business customer requiring invoices with GST details, ensure you provide accurate GSTIN and billing information at checkout. Refunds will follow applicable tax rules.
(Ensure your WooCommerce settings pass accurate tax/GST details at checkout and show invoice/GST fields where required.)
5. Payment Methods & Security

Payments are processed via trusted third-party payment gateways. Dilli Drip does not store full payment card data on our servers.

For COD orders, additional COD fees may apply — these will be shown at checkout.

Failure of payment authorization may lead to order cancellation.
(Using third-party gateways and not storing card data is standard e-commerce practice.)
6. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

Shipping timelines, fees, and tracking information are provided on the Shipping & Returns page and at checkout.

Risk of loss for items passes to you once the courier has accepted the package for delivery.

If an item is delivered but not received by you (claimed delivered by courier), we will work with the courier and you to investigate; evidence from the courier may be required.
(Practical note: define clear RTO and undelivered item processes in Shipping & Returns.)
7. Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges

Cancellation before dispatch: You may request an order cancellation before the item ships. We will try to cancel but cannot guarantee cancellation after dispatch.

Returns & exchanges: Our standard return window is 14 days from delivery (unless stated otherwise on the product page or during special promotions). Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags. Some categories (e.g., final sale items, intimate wear) may be non-returnable — such exceptions will be clearly noted.

Return shipping: Return shipping costs and who bears them will be specified on the Shipping & Returns page. RTO charges (returned-to-origin) due to unsuccessful delivery or refused shipments may be deducted from refunds.

Refunds: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Additional time may be required for banks/issuers.
(Industry norms vary; many Indian retailers use 7–30 day windows — 14 days is a balanced, customer-friendly standard.)
8. COD, RTO & Failed Deliveries

COD availability is shown at checkout and may attract additional fees.

If a COD order is refused upon delivery, or the courier returns the order for any reason, RTO charges will be deducted from the refund as per the Shipping & Returns policy.

Repeated refusal or incorrect addresses may lead to cancellation and refusal to accept future orders.
9. Product Descriptions & Availability

We aim to accurately describe product features, colors, sizes, and dimensions. Minor variations may occur due to screen settings or batch manufacturing differences.

All product availability is subject to stock. If an item is out of stock after order placement, we will notify you and offer alternatives, refunds, or waiting lists.
10. Intellectual Property

All content on the website (designs, images, copy, logos, trademarks) is the property of Dilli Drip or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without prior written permission.

If you believe any content infringes your rights, notify us under our Grievance process with details.
11. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or for suspicious activity.

Attempt to interfere with the site’s security, functionality, or systems
Violation may result in account termination and legal action.
13. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dilli Drip’s liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of the site or purchase of products is limited to the value of the order.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
(These clauses are common across e-commerce T&C to limit exposure; they must be reasonable and compliant with consumer laws.)
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Dilli Drip harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses resulting from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site.
15. Force Majeure
Dilli Drip is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or governmental action.
16. Grievance Redressal & Data-subject Requests

Grievance Officer / Contact: For any grievances, complaints, or privacy/data requests (access, correction, deletion), email support@dillidrip.com. Please include your order number (if applicable) and a clear description of the issue.

Acknowledgement & Resolution: We will acknowledge receipt promptly and make reasonable efforts to resolve the grievance within a reasonable timeframe. Where applicable under DPDP rules, structured SLAs are followed (acknowledgement within 7 days; substantive response/resolution within 30–90 days depending on the issue).
(Practical note: maintain internal workflows to meet these SLAs — a simple ticketing system is sufficient for small businesses.)
17. Changes to Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India (replace with your registered jurisdiction if different).

19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect.
